Yes. Active personal auto insurance is required before you can pick up a vehicle, and it needs to stay active for the entire length of your rental.
You may still apply, but coverage must be active before you take possession of a vehicle.
We can guide you toward trusted insurance providers so you can get a policy in place, but we don't sell or provide insurance ourselves. Coverage has to be arranged and active before you take possession of a vehicle.
Our standard rental is weekly. If you need a car for less time, we do offer limited short-term rentals starting at three days, subject to availability.
Yes, when short-term availability is open. Short-term rentals run 3–6 days and require a bit of extra paperwork — active insurance, proof of income, recent bank statements, and your requested dates.
Yes. As long as your payments are current and you're following our rental policies, your rental can be renewed week to week with no extra hassle.
Vehicles are not to leave the state of Connecticut. The only exception is if you are an Uber/Lyft driver, and you have to do a drop-off at the airport for example. Once you make gig work related drop-off you are to return back to Connecticut.
Drivers are responsible for paying tolls and tickets. Weekly payments are due on your renewal date and can be made through cash, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, Cash App, or card/online through Stripe — whichever works best for you.

No. You still need to meet the standard requirements — valid license, active insurance, proof of income, and so on. Flexible Start only affects how the upfront payment is handled, not the eligibility requirements themselves.
